Inspired by the dream of Icarus, Arrakis transforms childhood fantasies into feathered wings, exploring new frontiers of artistic perfumery.
Arrakis is a fragrance inspired by a binary star from the Draco constellation, which explores the changing brightnesses in the same olfactory pyramid, bringing new light and unpredictable emotions. Like the star that inspires it, composed of two opposite and equal stars, this fragrance has two souls with opposing intensities that can only reveal themselves to the most profound connoisseurs and experts.
The composition opens with an explosion of precious and refined citruses, where the grapefruit from Conca d’Oro in Sicily, nicknamed the “tree of paradise” for its unique and rare properties, resounds powerfully. The echoes of this aroma are completed by other citruses such as Calabrian bergamot and Sorrento lemon, precious molecules from Terenzi’s exclusive library.
The citrus soul of the fragrance blends with herbal spices, where we recognize the wild character of thyme and rosemary, softened by notes of Japanese osmanthus and yellow saffron from Sicily. The head of the fragrance passes into a warm exotic embrace, where noble vetiver from Tahiti highlights the notes of Virginia tobacco that leave their mark, supported by woods of Indian red patchouli and guaiaco from the Antilles.
The base of the fragrance is a swirling vortex of woods and oriental notes that provide incredible persistence to the citrus top notes. In this layer we find tonka beans from Mato Grosso in Brazil, combined with grey amber and musk, reinforced by the intense strength of oud from Cambodia.
